Welcome to Dewight Houses, where we will be offering tiny homes, tiny home villages, and thrift stores. With rents skyrocketing, many people living on social security, supplemental security income, or working low-wage jobs struggle to afford rent, food, and utilities, making it difficult to find suitable living arrangements. As a result, more people are at risk of homelessness than ever before. Our motto is "Preventing Homelessness" — we aim to assist individuals before they find themselves on the streets and help those who are already homeless to transition into better living arrangements.
It's important to note that not every homeless person is struggling with drug addiction or alcoholism. While some are, we are not a rehab service for those issues. Individuals with active addictions cannot participate in our program until they have completed rehab and are managing their issues. We primarily focus on helping the elderly, disabled, disenfranchised, veterans with special needs, and individuals with limited social skills. We provide housing, employment support, and a community structure tailored to individual needs.
